Valerie BlodgettValerie Blodgett

Hi, I’m Valerie, a cycle instructor here at Radius! When it comes to fitness and working out, I consider myself a late bloomer. I started my fitness journey around 2017 at our local YMCA in Ohio where I lived before moving to Arizona in 2020. I found some fitness classes I liked and a welcoming community and fell in love with how I was feeling physically and mentally. So, when I found out the YMCA was looking for a cycle instructor, I thought to myself ‘why not give it a try, challenge yourself and get out of your comfort zone!’ I was terrified! I had literally only taken ONE cycle class at the time, but I quickly became obsessed! When we moved to Arizona I was hoping to find the same kind of fun, friendly & comfortable atmosphere to continue on with my newfound fitness lifestyle. I was so excited when I found Radius, not only is it extremely close to where I live and work, but it was exactly what I was looking for! I became a member in 2021 and an instructor in 2022! Working out isn’t just about being physically fit but it’s also about being mentally fit and taking the time to do something positive for yourself! I’m so thankful for the small part I get to play in your journey! Let’s ride!

Julianne TortorelliAshley Roush

Hi! My name is Ashley! I am a newer cycle instructor but I’ve been taking classes for 10 years now. Cycle, in my opinion, is the best way to get cardio in! Riding to music you won;t won;t even notice you are sweating. The playlist in my classes is going to be unpredictable – Taylor Swift to unground techno, regardless we’re going to have fun and leave with those endorphins flowing!

Instructor Nicole Abate

Nicole A.

My passion is fitness. I have always been involved in sports or fitness since playing youth, high school, and college sports, and going on to graduate with a degree in health fitness. By day I am a special education teacher and by dusk and dawn a fitness instructor. I started teaching aerobics back in the Jane Fonda and Richard Simmons era. I have been a personal trainer as well as group fitness, cycling, aqua, and dance fitness instructor. I absolutely love bringing my passion for health fitness to every class I teach. My motivation is driven by instilling in you the strength to love yourself, be confident and powerful, and trigger the desire to do you and be the best you. I want to help you take charge of your life, health, and fitness. Inspiring you feeds my soul.

Julianne Tortorelli Beck Roeder

Being active is my passion. I love all things outdoors like hiking, paddle boarding, running, and swimming. I discovered yoga in high school and have loved yoga as a tool to continually progress in my fitness journey and to support my active lifestyle.
I love helping others to improve wellness, strengthen their bodies, and to meet their goals. Come join me in class to work up a sweat and have some fun!

Julianne Tortorelli Shelby Bluth

I’m Shelby Bluth and I’m 19 years old. I love weightlifting and bodybuilding and plan to do my first show in the fall of 2024. My hobbies are playing the guitar and painting. I obtained my certification in Personal training from NASM in 2023.

Sarah Munoz Sarah Munoz

Hi! My name is Sarah and I teach cycle here at Radius. Unlike many of my colleagues, fitness has not always been prevalent in my life. I started working out at Radius almost a year ago to do something for myself and, in the process, found a community of supportive people who motivated me to keep coming back. I’m grateful I did because it got me where I am today. In my journey to a healthier me, I discovered my love of cycling. I found that I wanted to keep showing up each day to socialize with other people in my class and push myself to do better each time I got on the bike. I recently decided to take it further and get certified as an instructor. My goal is to do what other instructors did for me: show me what I’m capable of! So here I am! Ready to lead you on your journey to discover YOUR love of cycling!

Hi, my name is Jessica (Jess). I am very passionate about my health and fitness along with yours! I have been in this industry a little over 6 years now and every day I fall that much more in love. I am a National Qualified NPC Bikini Competitor and my dream is to go pro one of these days. I have taught group fitness in the past and I do personal training on the side of my day job, but I have always loved cycling the most. Nothing gets you more fired up than some good beats and a good sweat! My style of riding is “riding to the beat” or “dance on your bike”. The vibes at Radius fitness are so powerful and I feel it every time I step into this studio. It is an amazing feeling when you can help others feel better, healthier, and satisfied every step of the way! It is hard work, but one quote I love is “if it does not challenge you, it won’t change you!”

Fitness and sports have been part of my life since childhood. From track and field, golf, and bodybuilding, I’ve enjoyed it all. I’m a certified fitness instructor through the US Air Force and ISSA, an AFAA certified cycling instructor and a certified paddleboard coach through the Paddlefit® Coaching System.

I discovered yoga over a decade ago while training for triathlons. Yoga became a great cross-training tool with swimming, biking, and running, and soon it found its way into all aspects of my life. Yogic breathing and how to use it during training and events helped me to finish 7 Ironmans and several marathons. After formalizing my yoga training (E-RYT500), I began teaching full-time for studios, fitness centers, military bases, and schools. I offer instruction in a variety of styles of yoga including Hatha, Restorative, Vinyasa, Yin, Kids, and Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga. I am also a Reiki II practitioner.

During the day you can find me running my yoga school, EnduraFit Yoga (RYS & YACEP), and my gift business, Asana Gifts.

Renee is fascinated with the science behind how and why yoga works on the mind and body and loves to share this information in class.

Her yogic philosophy is that yoga is not about complicated poses; it is about moving the body to achieve flexibility and strength, being mindful of the breath to facilitate relaxation, and meditating to gain focus and self awareness. She is honored and grateful to be a part of each student’s yoga practice.

Her personal website is InfiniteLotusYoga.com and she is also available for private sessions.

Instructor Siobhan P.

Siobhan P.

My name is Siobhan pronounced Sha-von, I came to my yoga mat almost 10 years ago due to a foot injury. As an ex competitive gymnast I was battling lower back pain at the same time due to lack of flexibility and yoga helped. I also found I was finally passionate about a form of exercise, yet yoga is so much more than exercise. Three years ago I undertook my 200 hour training to become certified and since then I have been teaching around the East Valley. What I love most about yoga is that every time I make my way to the mat I have a different experience, more often than not it humbles me. My favorite type of class and what I will be offering is a power vinyasa class, this class is meant to challenge but also know it is accessible. You are your own guide, modify, vary or find your way in this breath to movement practice. Meet me at Radius and make your way onto your mat. Namaste!

Ariel B.

Hey there I’m Ariel. I am from Spokane, Washington moved to Phoenix in 2016 where I fell in love with the practice of yoga. The universe led me on a path of self-healing with yoga, which quickly turned into my passion. I recently finished my 200-hour certification as a yoga teacher at Gilbert Yoga. I spend many hours sequencing Vinyasa and Hatha flows as well as some beginner basics. I’d love to take you on a journey of following your heart and not being a slave to your mind.

Instructor Kiley Taylor

She reminds you to Show up exactly as you are, wherever you are. That’s all you are ever expected to do, just make it your intention to continue to do so. Consistency is key and I’m going to be right here with you every step of the way.
Come sweat with me!

Amber J.

I’m an Arizona native with a lovely husband and three kids. I adore yoga, mind/body connection, food healing, meditation and all things in nature. Doing Yoga for 15 years shows the kind of dedication that I have in my heart to instill a love and enthusiasm to everyone whom I teach this ancient art. Working to receive my certification from Gilbert Yoga really gave my dreams a green light to share the power of Yoga to the world.

Being in the Medical field, to training in Qi Gong, food healing and a Licensed Massage Therapist of 17 years, my perspective is nicely rounded out and accepting of all backgrounds, ages, and viewpoints. I believe Yoga should be a journey to inspect your inner self to bring a transformed light to the world. One of the best ways to find this light is to envelop it with laughter and love, to release any judgment, and to truly have fun finding our essential nature.

Kelly V.

Hello, my name is kelly. I am a native of Arizona and have a beautiful family that makes me proud daily. We have a goofy dog that fits right in with us! I am a certified yoga teacher. I have had a passion for yoga and have been practicing for about 18 years now. Last year I finally decided to go through the training and become a certified yoga instructor. It has been life-changing and I am so happy I made this decision. I enjoy sharing this beautiful practice with others and want to teach all that any BODY can do yoga! If you are new to yoga or primarily weight train, you should definitely try yoga, you will see that it has so many benefits for the mind, body, and soul. It is OK to slow down, take a stretch, breathe, and meditate. I enjoy teaching all level yoga, Vinyasa flow, Hatha, Restorative, and Yin YOGA. I so look forward to seeing you in my class!

Carolyn L.

My hobbies include being upside down, running in the desert, finding stray dogs, being barefoot, and exercising exactly enough to allow myself to eat candy and drink kombucha for dinner and still fit in my jeans.
Somehow I turned this into a career.
I started on this path in 1997 while going to UMass for Exercise Physiology, with the intent to become a physical therapist. Somewhere along the way I shifted gears, realizing if I got to people a little earlier maybe not as many would end up with back pain and knee replacements. I’ve been personal training and teaching group exercise ever since.
I like to teach cycle and yoga with a similar mindset: I’m here to help you push your physical and mental limits but that means very different things on different days. Some days it’s easy to dig deep on the bike but sitting still while allowing your hip to open up is a struggle. Other days the pedals don’t want to turn but grownup nap time on a yoga mat sounds great. I’m here to help you find your shifting boundaries for each and hopefully amaze yourself with a newfound level or skill.

Trisha P.

Hi, I’m Trisha! I’m a busy wife and mother of three kids, who are my world. I enjoy hiking, paddle boarding, and being in nature.

Over the past decade I have gained experience and knowledge by being certified in step, weight training, and cycling. I enjoyed teaching multiple class formats, and did personal training, and small group fitness classes from my home. Cycling has always been my passion. I love a song with a good beat, and high energy classes! Come join me for a fun and great workout!

Jayna J.

This energetic ginger loves show choir, water-skiing, and eating In-N-Out!
